If you plan to use heavier software or multitask a lot, I recommend going for a stronger processor or at least a recent generation chip.
RAM and Storage
For me, having enough RAM was crucial. I aimed for at least 4GB of RAM to ensure smooth multitasking. As for storage, I preferred SSD over traditional HDD because it made the notebook much faster when booting up and opening apps.
